Last Wednesday, March 22, 2023, a magnificent event was held at 3835 9th Ave, New York, NY 10034, in commemoration of all the women who belong to UBA, both those who are part of the team and the wives or partners of our bodegueros in the New York Tri-State Area.
This event was very fruitful, as we had as a special guest Arlette Borrelly, host of the Hos program ‘La Bodega de la Mañana’ on 93.1 Amor, where she highlighted the importance of women bodegueras who have positioned themselves in the market, as several of them have been fighting for more than 20 years in the struggle, empowerment and above all in the change of all these stores.
Also, several of them told their experiences and lessons learned in all these years of work they have done, where the message was always to extol all the capabilities and opportunities that can be acquired by being part of UBA.
Approximately 20 empowered, powerful and determined women who have contributed greatly to the United Bodegas Of America community attended, because for women the impossible does not exist, it just takes some time to achieve it, and therefore, today they are a great example in our bodega market, resilient and intelligent women.
