Radhamés was born in May 1963 in the municipality of Los Cacaos, San Cristóbal, a beautiful mountain town in the south of the Dominican Republic. The son of farmer Pedro Rodríguez and Carmen Soto, he was taught values such as respect, honesty and hard work since he was a child, always being an example for his family. At the age of 22, he had already demonstrated his entrepreneurial vision by becoming the owner of three convinience stores in Santo Domingo, which were very successful and popular in the neighborhood, and motivated by this experience, he decided to focus his efforts on the grocery store sector.

In 1985 he emigrated to the United States, where he continued to cultivate his entrepreneurial spirit by opening and managing several bodegas, also guiding young people in the proper management of these businesses. Radhamés has maintained his philosophy of constant effort, faith in God and pride in his Dominican roots as the pillars of his success. Currently, in addition to managing his own bodegas, he is the president of the United Bodegas of America (UBA), from where he actively works for the welfare and development of the bodega owners’ community.
