Biography
Germaine, a New York City native from a Dominican family that immigrated to the United States during the 1970s and 1980s, grew up in Leonia, New Jersey after his parents sought to get away from the dangers of the city at that time. At an early age he showed a great inclination for the independence of being a business owner; setting up his first company at the age of 19 in the field of marketing and advertising.
He studied International Business and Economics at New Jersey City University, earning his M.B.A. in both fields from Baruch College in New York City. He currently owns several companies, working in the areas of real estate, consulting and gastronomy. His integration to UBA marks an important shift towards leading the organization at a national level, and consolidating the representation of bodegueros and small businesses in every corner of the city.
