Bodega’s Fest 2025 became a true milestone for the Bronx community and for all those who recognize the contribution of bodega owners in New York.
Presented by Assembly member George Alvarez and United Bodegas of America (UBA), this free admission festival celebrated in style the official proclamation of June 26th as “Bodeguero’s Day” in New York State, a date dedicated to honoring the importance and impact of this sector that is an essential part of daily life in the city.
With the presence of Radhames Rodriguez, president of UBA, the third edition of the event, held at the iconic Poe Park on Grand Concourse Ave, broke attendance records and became a true celebration of music, culture and community unity.

Special Thanks
Radhámes Rodríguez on behalf of the bodegueros and Assembly membern George Álvarez extend a special thanks to the New York City Police Department (NYPD) for their support, collaboration and commitment to the security of this great event.
Thanks to their presence, the community was able to enjoy a day that will remain engraved in everyone’s memory.
Bodega’s Fest 2025 not only celebrated a day, but a history of effort, service and culture. Once again it was demonstrated that bodegas are much more than neighborhood businesses: they are the heart of the community.
